Home Up Here's what to do

The highlight of the weekend, for me, was the Talent Show.  The Professor Gumby in me delights in the opportunity to take the stage and make a fool of myself in new and unexpected ways.  Of course, forgetting to pack along the music Linda and I were going to sing was very much unexpected.  We had our instruments and some expectations that we would sing, so we had to scrounge.  Thankfully, Brian had the words to The Rose, which is something I had practiced a great deal on the autoharp, since I think it's such a beautiful song (in sound and words).  Our rough start was another unexpected bit of comic relief.  The audience was then well primed for our reconstructive adaptation of "On Top of Spaghetti".

We were of course delighted to hear the return of Sony & Cher, Mr. Natural, and Charlie Matiolli as Kermit the Frog in "It's Not Easy, Being Green".

The Teens gave a rousing series of joke sketches, and Calvertisms abounded, so there was something in each corner of the multi-dimensional spectrum of tastes
